Tada later won Akutagawa prize. From his youth, Yuukei Tada studied under Yokomitsu Riichi. Yokomitsu Riichi initiated Tada into the smart and light world of “modern haiku”.\nTada passed that on to Kajiyama.Yokomitsu Riichi produced his “modern haiku” by consciously shutting out emotions. While Yuukei Tada’s “modern haiku” was created in the same way, he left some room for people to emotionally relate to his haiku. And that’s mainly done through his “social issue haiku”. In Tada, “social issue haiku” and “modern haiku” exist in each respective literary world Chizuko Kajiyama was the one who fused these 2 worlds. “Social issue haiku” and “modern haiku” are integrated in Kajiyama’s works. This is the greatest achievement attained by Kajiyama during the course of her creative endeavor.
