Gates Foundation initiatives Math Design Collaborative to develop the lesson to correspond with Common Core State Standards. Mathematics Assessment Project is the part of it, to design formative and summative assessment.\nAs a result of the lesson observation, Local Educational Agency introduces Mathematics Assessment Project to the school which does not show the good test score after Common Core State Standards started However, it seems that top-down lesson study messes up teachers and students.
