The first level was defined as a person facing.The second level was defined as third party. The third level was defined as the general unspecified others. These three levels of others were applied to stimulus or procedure in developmental tasks especially included in the Kyoto Scale of Psychological Development. In the Kyoto Scale of Psychological Development, there were many tasks about the first level of others for infant and toddler. The task about the second level of others was ‘Comprehension’ which was the task of guessing the behavior of others under the assumed circumstances. Also, the task about third level of others was ‘Plan of Search’. The failure of this task might reflect carelessness in the integration of instructional information and/or lack of consideration of what level of detail might be reasonable for answers to be generally acceptable.
