The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding about how childcare methodology affects sound in a childcare environment by analyzing the observational data regarding sound in childcare facilities. It also explores the behavior of children in this environment under the care of childcare workers. The subjects of this study are five nursery rooms at one kindergarten. \nIt was found that on average the equivalent noise level (LAeq) when storytelling with picture books was 66.5dB (lowest value) and the noise level during Pianica activity was the highest at an average of 80.2 dB. The noise level while singing songs was 79.8 dB, the noise level of picture-stories was 67.9 dB, the noise level of English learning was 78.3 dB, the noise level during meal preparation was 74.6 dB, the noise level during meals was 75.5 dB, and the noise level of free play in the morning was 76.0 dB. \nIt was found that it is necessary to improve the situation of children who are in high noise early childhood education and childcare environments for long periods of time.
